I would love to see Obama get this 1 right -I would love to see GM grow.
I have concerns --maybe someone can help me understand the logic here.
In the article below it states GM sales of the Volt is 6,200 in 2011 & production goals for 2012 are 60,000. is a 10 X  increase of sales realistic ? Even with gas at 6-7- dollars a gallon ?

Actually new car sales to individuals was on around 3,000 is you consider demos & fleet cars are half of sales in 2011

Nascar / electric cars

Who would win the race ? A car that runs 40 mph for 30 minutes or a car that runs 30 mph for 40 minutes.
Not sure which would put me to sleep 1st -An hour in church or visiting someone in a coma in the hospital or a race with electric cars

Ok--- here is an environmental idea .Mandate all electric car owners set up solar charging stations.
If they can tell us which light bulbs to buy why not ?

Tax payers vs union auto workers

I read today union workers will be getting another check for $7,000.00 EACH as part of profit sharing.
Excuse me but why did bond holders get wiped out & how come taxpayers still own a majority of the company @ less than $24.00 a share when the price needs to be @ least $53.00 just to break even.

As a young boy I helped my grandfather ( on week-ends & after 8 hours in their Cabinet shop ) in the garden. ( 5 acres ) Once we planted 1,200 strawberry plants . You name it ,if it would grow in Tennessee we had some. He gave away hundreds of pounds of fresh vegetables & fruits to family & friends & fellow church goers. those days & activities are soon to be illegal if politicians get their way Sad & nauseating thought.
